OBA Annual Reunion Dinner 2010

To all Members of the Old Bordenian Association -
The Annual Reunion Dinner was held at the School on Saturday 15th May 2010
The President of the Association, Harold Vafeas, Headmaster of the School, presided.
The toast to the School and the Association was proposed by Robert Dammers.
Robert left Borden in 1976 to read Physics at Imperial College. After graduating in 1979, he joined Shell Research, starting at the Sittingbourne Research Centre working on laboratory automation systems, moving into IT systems management. He then moved into IT Infrastructure consultancy and strategy, working at the laboratory in Amsterdam. He left Research in 1989, moving to Shell UK Exploration and Production in Aberdeen, during which time he got married and had two sons. In 1996, he transferred to Shell’s central IT consultancy group, working first for three years in the Hague, and subsequently in London. For the last couple of years he has telecommuted to London from his home in Pembury.
The usual delicious meal was available. Lounge suit was required.
