October 1, 2010 in Obituaries

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of John Macrae on Monday 27th September after a long battle with cancer.  He spent almost his entire life at Borden – as a pupil, a teacher and finally as a Governor – and was Secretary of the Old Bordenian Association for over 20 years.   A proper obituary notice will appear on this Website shortly, but meanwhile we thought Members would like to know that the funeral has been arranged at St. Michael’s Church, Sittingbourne, at 11 a.m. on Friday 8th October, followed by a private cremation.
